The year of 2007 is the bicentenary of the birth of the legendary Hero of the two worlds, Giuseppe Garibaldi. His fight for the independence of Sicily and for the Italian Unity are well known as well as the primary rule of the Hungarian Legion which took part in the battles beside the famous General. In the present article I try to focus the attention on the description of the Sicilian expedition of Garibaldi made by a Hungarian journalist of the most prestigious British newspaper, The Times.
