This article presents a summarized overview of the security impact of the Syrian civil war on Lebanon. The text passes through all the relevant major events that destabilized the county's inner stability and represented a threat to its peaceful future. The events are sorted thematically in an analytic way in order to find the different elements that link them together. The study tries to contextualize all the presented symptoms for a better understanding of the Lebanese domestic security and the risks of spillover caused by the neighboring war. It covers the issues that happened between 2011 (with the beginning of the unrests in Syria) until the end of 2016.
